Laying in the bath tub soaking my aching tired body tonight, I stumbled across this quote and nearly jumped from the bubbles.

This could not be more true for me over the last few months. I have been able to see truth, to know what—and how—I want to invest my time, and who the people are that truly rally around each other.

Life is hard, and now more than ever I see that I want to choose kindness over anything else, especially motives to engage with people who don’t align or resonate with kindness.

But, to each their own. I just know that am not here to change who I am just to belong in a circle that doesn’t honor each other. I know where I belong, and am happier than I’ve ever been. I am living with the integrity and truth that the human connection is at the heart of my intention.

Kindness to others should always come before individual success.
