Citrus Bliss Blend

Mmmm!!! This is one of my all time favorite oils and my easy diffuser “go-to”! I reach for this one in the mornings more than any other and I love to share this blend with my students because it is an instant smile generator. When I share this one, I like to have people close their eyes and imagine being a little kid and hearing the sound of the ice cream truck and then as they inhale this blend, I ask them to think of something on the truck that it smells like and 99% of the time I get an excited “creamsicle!” answer.

Citrus Bliss is also known as the Invigorating Blend. This blend expertly combines the powerful scents of Wild Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Bergamot, Tangerine, and Clementine with a hint of Vanilla Absolute to form this unique and harmonious blend. It is uplifting and an instant mood changer. If you have a case of the grumps, this is a great choice.

While it smells like creamsicle…Citrus Bliss has incredibly potent yet natural cleansing properties. All those citrus oils in one bottle make for a great surface spray cleaner. Diffuse for an uplifting aroma that cleanses the air, or add it to a spray bottle of water to wipe down countertops and sinks.

One of my favorite oils to diffuse with Citrus Bliss is Wintergreen (3 drops each). Another favorite is to add spearmint! Give it a try!

Breathe Essential Oil Blend

Breathe makes it easy to take simple respiratory support on the go when seasonal threats are high (just swipe on the bottoms of your feet or over your chest with a bit of carrier oil– or grab Breathe Touch). Rub on neck, chest, back, or bottom of feet for a restful sleep. Breathe is my go to when I feeling stuffy or have any sort of breathing discomfort. It is also amazing for those who sleep with a snorer…just have that person apply a little on their mustache area or pop in your diffuser! This blend is safe for all ages too, with proper dilution of course. I like to apply this one to the bottoms of feet and not only do the feet feel amazing but breathing gets a little easier! Perfect for little ones!

This blend is a powerhouse:

? Laurel

? Eucalyptus

? Peppermint

? Melaleuca

? Lemon

Trying Essential Oils

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

One of my favorite aspect to my “job” is helping people feel empowered by learning how to use natural remedies to address everyday issues that come up for most of us at some point. You know things like sleep trouble, dealing with anxious moments and life stressors, aches and pains, feeling under the weather, and energy.

One of the things I love to do is send people a little package with samples to try with a little information that explains how to use them and the many uses one little bottle can cover. Essential oils are similar to other things we try to help ourselves feel better in the fact that each oil is not going to have the exact same effect on every single person. Generally, if you use an oil and don’t get the results you’re looking for, that’s OK, we can try something else.

Of course it is always important to remember that using essential oils should be honored much like a medication or other remedy that needs supervision, and a little common sense. Here are few things to remember before using them.

Safety Precautions:

• Essential oils are extremely potent and some should not be applied directly on the skin without diluting them first (Cassia, Cinnamon, Clove, Thyme & Oregano to name a few).

• All citrus oils are photosensitive and should not be used on the skin for 12-24 hours prior to sun exposure. This means that if you apply to your skin and go in the sun for a long period of time, you could burn your skin.

• Some but not all doTERRA essential oils are safe for internal use. Do not ingest an oil without triple checking if it is safe for dietary use. Also working with someone closely who understand how to use essential oils is key especially when using internally.

• Babies & the elderly are more sensitive to oils and extra dilution may be required. My favorite carrier oil is coconut or jojoba, but I also add to lotion.

• Keep your oils out of reach of children & pets. Remember these are potent and powerful. They need to be treated like a medication with safety in mind.

The Top Ten Essential Oils

The Immune System and the Lymphatic System work synergistically to protect the body from harmful pathogens and disease.

Wait. What is it?

These systems include white blood cells, bone marrow, the spleen, tonsils, adenoids, appendix, thymus, lymph, and lymph nodes. When our immune system is working properly, it is able to identify a threat and engage in a series of responses designed to eliminate the pathogen from entering targeted cells and tissues.

Lifestyle choices can either strengthen or weaken the immune response.

Nutrition is an important factor in having a healthy immune system because cells need vital nutrients to safeguard the body.

Did you know  your essential oils have a chemical footprint similar to the human body, therefore, they have the unique ability to help the immune system bring itself to balance? Essential oils are fat-soluble (lipophilic) so they are able to penetrate the cell membrane and back up your immune system when you are feeling a bit run down.

There are so many uses for just these ten essential oils! And the great news is these come in two of my favorite starter bundles. Plus, when you get started with me, I hook you up with some awesome education and mentoring so that you know exactly how to use them, a free wellness coaching session, and a welcome package to get your started! You will also be part of a great community of people striving for wholeness.
