Monday Motivation

In my yoga teaching this week we will explore the concept of greed, and how we can become preoccupied with our desires. Whether it is the greediness in wanting more exercise, more food, more money or even more love. Even in nailing the “perfect pose”. These habits are usually a result an underlying fear of lack and limitation.

Will I have enough? Will I be better if I am a size smaller? Will I be happier with more money?

For me, perfectionism is my greed. Thinking everything must be in perfect order; finances, health, home, etc. At times, I even lose the beauty of the moment by seeking out perfection.

So this week I will ask myself—why not just be? Be in the present and in joy and light.
