Ready to Start Yoga and Meditating?

I was sure terrified the first time I unrolled a yoga mat. And when I did, I hated every minute of it. I found the idea of the quiet time with myself to be grueling. But back then I didn’t even know who I was, much less like who I was.

In just a short time I developed a deep love for the practice. I had began to teach yoga. Thirteen years later I have grown so much as a teacher, and as a human, which brings me to having so gratitude that I get to share the teachings.

Sadly, the COVID-19 corona virus has halted my teachings. But, since I am the type of girl to make lemonade out of lemons I started to use my studio space to create weekly series of yoga, chair yoga, meditation and pilates fusion. My yoga videos are raw and real. I don’t fuss over perfect lighting or have woven in zen-like images, and I don’t practice as I teach. I believe my style teaches the student to feel and to listen to the inner whisperings that their own body is speaking which then translates to a profound awareness off the mat. I give cues and describe where your body is in space, versus having the student watch. By teaching sensations and intuitive movements, you will learn more about yourself than you can imagine. After all Yoga is a practice, right? I believe it is a practice for how to live life.
