Maybe it’s been an incredibly busy week, coupled with the unknown of the future and the overload of technology this week, or maybe it was the cortisone shot in my foot that has been ramping me up, but either way I have been dealing with anxiety lately.
For 18 years I have been wearing and using crystals for a variety of reasons and yesterday it struck me that since being home, I haven’t been wearing my usual crystal jewelry or putting them in my pocket. Crazy, right?
I immediately put on my rose quartz necklace and my moonstone pendant. I added a Labradorite bracelet and I had a much better day.
Check out the benefits.
Rose Quartz—opens the heart, promotes self-love, and blocks negativity
Moonstone—balances emotions, reduces anxious feelings, cools the mind
Labradorite—relieves anxiety and brain stress, strengthens the will
If you’d like some encouragement and guidance on using crystals, send me a message. I’d be glad to help…and I have a large stash I’d be happy to share.?
This is my favorite blend. I wear it every single day. Since I teach/speak so much, I am always making sure my fifth chakra is nice and open. I want you to have one too, it’s sooooo good!
Did you know that the fifth chakra (or energy center) is located in the area of the throat and neck?
Since this chakra is located in the throat and governs higher communication, speaking, hearing and listening, it helps us to understand our inner truth and convey it with our voice to the outside world. Speaking (and listening) are key as we show up in the world authentically and in our truth. The emotions that are linked to this energy center are faith and understanding. I love this blend because it opens up my voice and allows my truth to be conveyed easily.
If you struggle to speak up for yourself, or have a job that requires effective communication, you might consider getting one of these!
In addition to the amazing blend of oils, I also throw in some sodalite which is my favorite for the fifth chakra. Sodalite brings order and calmness to the mind. Encourages rational thought, objectivity, truth and intuition, along with verbalization of feelings. Brings emotional balance and calms panic attacks. Enhances self-esteem, self-acceptance and self-trust.

In Sanskrit, the heart chakra is called Anahata, which means “unstruck” or “unhurt.” Its name implies that deep beneath our personal stories of brokenness and the pain in our heart, wholeness, boundless love, and a wellspring of compassion reside.
The Heart Chakra
The fourth chakra, the heart chakra, rests in the center of the chakra system at the core of our spirit. Its physical location is the heart, upper chest, and upper back. The fourth is the balance point, integrating the world of matter (the lower three chakras) with the world of spirit (the upper three chakras). Through the heart chakra, we open to and connect with harmony and peace. The health of our heart center registers the quality and power of love in our life.
Being an even-numbered, feminine chakra, the heart center naturally yearns to release and let go. When we feel fearful, there is no room for love, and our bodies show contraction. When we choose love, the fear melts away, and our practice takes on a joyful quality.
Balancing the heart chakra
Doing backbends develops the trust and surrender we need to open the heart fully. In many backbending poses, the heart is positioned higher than the head. It’s wonderfully refreshing to let the mind drop away from the top position and instead lead with the heart.
Some signs that the heart chakra is overpowering your life can include co-dependency, possessiveness, jealousy, heart disease, and high blood pressure. For these symptoms, forward bends are the best antidote, because they are grounding and foster introspection. While people with deficient heart chakras need to open to receive love more fully, those with excessive heart chakras find healing by slowing down to discover inside themselves the nourishment they have been seeking from others.

Is anyone else feeling a little off? I have had two of the hardest days just this week!
After today, I decided to go back to what I know and know really well and that is my energy centers. I did some self inquiry and discovered that maybe my root chakra is feeling a bit unbalanced. I pulled out my root chakra oil blend and my hematite and found some common ground.
Inside my root chakra blend is black tourmaline chips, cypress, sandalwood, balance, vetiver and cedarwood. I apply this to my legs and feet while bringing in the affirmation—AM.
Tomorrow is a new day. A new chance to be. I know that the tools I have can bring me back to my center and I can regain clarity and a sense of self. If you haven’t checked out my chakra series free ebook, it’s in my link or you can message me.
No matter what is going on, it’s temporary. It always is. And I’m the meantime I have my oils and my crystals and my faith to keep me sane.

I have this chunk of fluorite in my bathroom and the sun hits it perfectly each morning when I am getting ready for work.
Lately I have been so drawn to its beauty. I did some digging and here is what I learned about fluorite.
It is sometimes called fluorspar. The name is derived from the Latin word ‘fluo’, meaning to flow. It’s also a powerful crystal to ward off negative energies and works wonderfully with the throat and third eye chakra. It can purify your body and eliminate anything that’s causing it not to function perfectly. It can bring you calmness and relaxation, and it can relieve tensions and anxieties. The fluorite crystal stone can be used as a power source that magnifies everything around it, including other gemstones. Fluorite increases our powers of concentration, self-confidence and helps us in decision-making. Flourite is a great gemstone for concentration and clarity. It encourages positivity, balances the energies, and improves balance and coordination, both physically and mentally. Fluorite boosts the immune system and stimulates the regeneration and restructuring of cells and DNA. Fluorite strengthens bone tissue, and alleviates rheumatism, arthritis and spinal injuries.
So many benefits of having this one in my space. It’s gorgeous blues, green and purples is one of my faves.
Do have any fluorite? I also have a fluorite bracelet and that is an awesome way to get the benefits.

This morning I sat to plan my week and get centered heading into it. Sunday mornings are my usual time to get grounded and make plans and review my goals.
I also often pull angel cards and sometimes tarot cards. I giggled when the one card I pulled out of 65 to guide my present situation was the solar plexus chakra! I giggled because this is the chakra we are diving into this week in my home studio.
The third chakra—solar plexus—is a powerful one. Located in the area of the solar plexus, navel, and the digestive system, the fiery third chakra is called Manipura, the “lustrous gem.” Associated with the color yellow, this chakra is involved in self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation; it also governs digestion and metabolism. A healthy, spirited third chakra supports us in overcoming inertia, jump-starting our “get-up-and-go” attitude so that we can take risks, assert our will, and assume responsibility for our life. This chakra is also the place of our deep belly laughter, warmth, ease, and the vitality we receive from performing selfless service.
Some signs that the Solar Plexus Chakra is out of balance are:
Difficulty concentrating
Poor ability to make decisions or judge a situation accurately
A feeling that you are more important than other people
Trouble taking action or getting things done
To bring balance to the third chakra, a yoga practice focusing on strengthening the abdominal muscles, warrior postures and the breath of fire are helpful. Essentials oils that are spicy and supportive of the digestive system are helpful (ginger, coriander, clove and cinnamon) along with gemstones like citrine or topaz.
It’s going to be an awesome week! I feel the power and excitement of the third chakra driving me this week in my personal power and choice!
The fourth chakra, the heart chakra, rests in the center of the chakra system, at the core of our spirit. Its physical location is the heart, upper chest, and upper back. The fourth is the balance point, integrating the world of matter (the lower three chakras) with the world of spirit (the upper three chakras). The element of this chakra is air, which is why we feel breathless when we are consumed with love and when we have heartache. The health of our heart center registers the quality and power of love in our life.

I am so excited to be putting these together! I had to cleanse and charge the crystals before mindfully putting them into each chakra blend. I meditated and put so much good vibes and love into each bottle. Keeping our chakras open and balanced is critical for the overall health of our mind, body and spirit. Using gemstone and plant vibrations that resonate with our energy centers, along with affirmations, is a beautiful way to begin to find harmony.
