Rest and Reduce Stress

I have come to value self-care tremendously and it is a MUST for me. I used to never take care of myself and I paid the price over time with high levels of stress in all areas of my body. Now my body, mind and spirit are much more balanced.

Part of my self care routine is that I practice Yoga and meditation, I journal and I take short walks in nature everyday. Daily bubble baths, lots of water and plenty of laughter is a must! I get a massage twice per month, too! I also believe in positive affirmations and practice mindfulness throughout my day.

An easy DIY is to make Epsom Salts for your bath–http://www.doterra.com/US/en/blog/diy-epsom-salt-bath

I also use the amazing massage blend known as Aromatouch daily and when I go to a massage. AromaTouch combines our essential oils of Cypress, Peppermint, Marjoram, Basil, Grapefruit, and Lavender essential oils in a perfect blend that adds many important benefits to various massage techniques.

During meditation I love to use sandalwood and frankincense to center my my mind on stillness and Spirit. Both the wood and oil have been highly valued for centuries and Sandalwood has a documented history of many applications. It was traditionally used as an incense in religious ceremonies and for enhancing meditation, and the Egyptians used sandalwood for embalming. When inhaled or diffused, Frankincense promotes feelings of peace, relaxation, satisfaction, and overall wellness.
